Plain White T’s frontman Tom Higginson wrote this ode to Columbia University steeplechase runner Delilah DiCrescenzo. He fell for Delilah and told her he’d written a tune about her, then quickly backed off when she asked to hear the song, which didn’t exist yet. By the time he got around to penning the ditty, Delilah was long gone. She has since weighed in, saying, “Part of me wants to scream at the top of my lungs that it’s about me. Another part of me wants to cower and say it’s not.”

It’s not always about the looks, you know. She probably is an amazing girl, she looks okay, but there could be more about her than just her looks. People have different tastes.

Beautiful Song. Delilah is beautiful so all of the people who say shes not. You need to look what on the inside. I think she is gorgeous. Maybe she just doesnt take good pics sometimes but she is truely beautiful.

finally what this guy did is more romantical than what you could ever do. and THAT speaks of something more important than how she looks like. eighterway: me personally is liking what i see. tastes are diffrent. but she might be one of the most lucky girls in the world, having somebody caring that much ‘bout her.
