Redheads Going Extinct, Say Scientists

Less than 2% of the world’s population has natural red hair, which was created by a mutation in northern Europe thousands of years ago.

Because of this, it’s possible, say some expets, that redheads could be gone as early as 2060. On the other hand, if they want to save themselves, they should all move to Scotland. 40% of Scottish people are carriers of the gene while 13% of them have red hair.

Wow, I’d really hate to think there would be no more redheads. My favorite redhead is to the left. Yes, it’s the HughesNet actress, Margaret Easley.
