Germany’s third annual dustbin race

Inhabitants of the sleepy town of Hermeskeil in Germany took to the streets on Saturday, armed with dustbins – and safety helmets. Rather than collecting rubbish, bins were used as vehicles for the 3rd annual dustbin race, with over 50 people attending the curious event. Roads were closed to make way for participants as they raced down on customary bins.
