Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality

Has this ever happened to you? You see the picture of a fast food item that looked, oh so yummy, but when the order arrived it looked completely different from the picture. Here we have a real good collection of fast food images comparisons.
And one other thing, each item was purchased, taken home, and photographed immediately. Nothing was tampered with, run over by a car, or anything of the sort. It is an accurate representation in every case. Shiny, neon-orange, liquefied pump-cheese, and all.

Taco Bell Nachos Bell Grande

McDonald’s Big Mac

Burger King Sausage

McDonald’s Fillet o Fish Sandwich

KFC Famous Bowl

Subway Turkey Sub

Wendy’s Southwest Taco Salad

Burger King Whopper

  1. Brilliant post jackass, who hasn’t covered this subject?? The food at shitty fast food restaurants will never look exactly like the picture. Did you get this idea from Morgan Spurlock?

  2. Pay no mind to the jerk that already posted. I’m surprised you let him post.

I loved seeing what we actually get compared to the advertisement.

Maybe that’s why we’re in the shape we’re in a country. Because everything is all hype and no substance and that’s what we’ve come to expect.

    Great post.

  3. “Jason” – do you work for Burger King’s PR Department?

  4. That was pretty funny, but yeah the ads are always better than what we get. It would be a perfect world if everything we bought was as awesome as they promised.

  5. My Fillet Burger looks fine, thank god!

But I can purely understand the rest!
