Monday Morning Music Video - Sour - “Hibi no neiro”

Monday Morning Music Video – Sour – “Hibi no neiro”

This is one of the most original videos I’ve ever seen. It was shot for Sour’s ‘Hibi no Neiro’ (Tone of everyday) from their first mini album ‘Water Flavor EP’. The cast were selected from the actual Sour fan base, from many countries around the world. Each person and scene was filmed purely via webcam.

As stated on their website, sour is a 3 piece band that plays organic, urban, tight, mellow, sharpend, and totally comfortable sound.

I know I enjoyed it. If you did, check out their official website at sour-web.com.

Girls are like M&M’s

I had a friend in high school who had a dad just like his. It’s freaking awesome. Good Times.

The Potbelly: the #1 fashion accessory of the summer.

I never thought I would see the day when It would be considered cool to have a gut. I always dreamed it would happened, but never actually believed it would. But according to the article “It’s hip to be round” by New York Times columnist Guy Trebay that day may well be here. In his article he talks about how men are giving up on the perfect 6 pack. Too much time in the gym makes us feel like pampered little girls.

He goes on to call this new phenomenon the Ralph Kramden. He states; ” What the trucker cap and wallet chain were to hipsters of a moment ago, the Kramden is to what my colleague Mike Albo refers to as the “coolios” of now. Leading with a belly is a male privilege of long standing, of course, a symbol of prosperity in most cultures and of freedom from anxieties about body image that have plagued women since Eve.”

Well here’s to hoping this article is signs of the future and not delusions of grandeur.

Swine Flu vs AIDS

“90 people get the swine flu and everybody wants to wear a mask. A million people have AIDS and no one wants to wear a condom.” -UNKOWN

This quote got me thinking when I came across it. It’s interesting how things are justified.
