Fast Food: Ads vs. Reality

Has this ever happened to you? You see the picture of a fast food item that looked, oh so yummy, but when the order arrived it looked completely different from the picture. Here we have a real good collection of fast food images comparisons.
And one other thing, each item was purchased, taken home, and photographed immediately. Nothing was tampered with, run over by a car, or anything of the sort. It is an accurate representation in every case. Shiny, neon-orange, liquefied pump-cheese, and all.

Company Sells Bottled Water For Dogs

One of New England’s oldest soda bottling companies has launched Woof Water, a bottled water for dogs.

Avery Beverages has a wide range of flavors, everything from toxic slime, to dog drool, swamp juice and bug barf. Company officials said that the popularity of the off-beat flavors got them thinking—why not water for dogs?

“A lot of our customers that buy the bottled water, the large bottles, the towns that have heavily chlorinated water, the dogs just won’t drink it, so they’re giving the dogs spring water and that was part of the genesis of this,” said Cindy Burr, of Avery Beverages.

Company officials said the water is pure spring water with nothing added and nothing taken out.

Drink that Chills Itself

Drinks giant Coca-Cola has invented a bottle that chills on the inside when the top is twisted off.

Insiders have hinted that the technology will feature in a new drink called Sprite Super Chilled, which could reach the UK by next year.

The bottles do away with the need to add ice, which dilutes the liquid – but they must be put in a special vending machine to regulate temperature.

Bosses at the US firm hope to cash in on the “super chilled” drinks trend.

Coke and Diet Coke could be packaged in the new bottles if they prove to be successful.

Schlicken’s Response: This is a great invention. Who doesn’t want cold coke? Well maybe it wouldn’t work well in Greenland.
