TOP 10 Movie Vehicles

This article comes from the guys @ Top10Kid.com. It’s a pretty cool site, hopefully they can keep it coming.

10: MACH 5

Sure, it started as a cartoon but some really cool guy decided this needed to exist in the real world.

9: ECTO-1

Who am I gonna call? The dealership to see if they have any of these on the lot.

8: BUMBLEBEE

I’m glad VW didn’t want to be a part of the Transformers movie because Bumblebee never looked so cool.

7: DELOREAN TIME MACHINE

Not so much for the car but for the possibilities of screwing with the time line.

6: MAD MAX INTERCEPTOR

This car just makes me want to crash into other motorists.

5: BANDITSTRANS AM

Roadblocks, Shmoadblocks…Run em’

4: A-TEAM VAN

I pity the fool who doesn’t put this on the list.

3: GENERAL LEE

Making it really really difficult to get into a car since 1979.

2: BATMOBILE

If a Superhero needed a car…this would be the Luxury model.

1: K.I.T.T.

It’s an intelligent car with weapons and cool moving lights under the hood that you can call on with a watch. End of story.

International Box Office (Alltime #’s)

movie reelI think it’s quite intersting how people can be so different. I mean, movies that would be considered allright in one country can end up being the alltime greatest box office seller in another.
A good example of this is how the #1 Box Office Seller of all time in Aulstralia is, drum role please, Crocodile Dundee. That’s incredible! I mean if you’ve ever seen Crocodile Dundee, this has got to strike you as a little bit odd. I’m not saying the movie doesn’t have its place, but best of all time? I don’t think so.
Below are some international countries and their alltime top sellers.

The Princess Bride

“Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”

When William Goldman wrote those words, he did not intend for them to become a fragment of ‘80s pop culture. When Mandy Patinkin spoke those words, he didn’t expect his every inflection to be endlessly mimicked. And when Rob Reiner directed those words, he had no idea that kids and young adults everywhere would be repeating them. Nevertheless, there’s no doubting that nearly every movie-going American is familiar with those three short sentences. Reiner has stated that, along with “I’ll have what she’s having” and “You can’t handle the truth,” this represents one of the three most often quoted excerpts of dialogue from his movies.

Since its release more than 15 years ago, The Princess Bride has often been copied, but never equaled. The word “brilliant” is often overused in the movie business, but this is one of those occasions when it is warranted. The Princess Bride is an unparalleled achievement – a modern classic that will be enjoyed for generations to come. It has been called the “Generation X’s version of The Wizard of Oz,” and, more than any other description, that comes the closest to identifying this movie’s impact
